Churma Na Ladu By: Noori Gulamani


3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1 cup Sooji
1/2 cup Gram flour
1/2 cup Coconut
1/2 cup Khas khas
3/4 cup Crushed variyari
3 lbs Butter
1 cup Oil
1/2 cup Margarine
1 kilo Goor
1-2 tablespoon Oil
1/2 cup Water
3/4 cup Goond
1 can Evaporated milk
Elchi, Jaifer, Kesar ( to your liking)
2 lbs Almonds broken into small pieces
1/2 lb Pista in small pieces


Melt the goor in 1-2 tablespoon of oil and 1/2 cup of water


melt butter, oil, margarine. Add variyari, sooji,khaskhas and all flour and coconut.
Cook on med-high heat stirrling constantly for 15-20 minutes.
Add goond, elchi, jaifer, kesar, almonds, pistas and stir well over low heat.
Add evaporated milk and melted goor.
Take off the het. Stir well. Let cool for 45 minutes or until a little hard.
Roll ladva and dip in almond, pista and khaskhas. ( this is extra khas khas)
