Ingredients:

1/2 cup channa dal
1/2 cup toor dal
1/2 tsp whole cumin (jiro)
1 or 2 sticks Cinamon
1/2 tsp ginger and garlic
1/4 tsp dry methi powder
1/2 tsp rai (black mustard seeds)
1/2 Onion chopped small
1/2 tsp Salt (add as per taste)
1/2 tsp Curry Powder
1/2 tsp Shan Channa Daal Masala
2 tsp lemon juice
10 leaves limdo (Curry Patta or Neem leaves)

Method:

Boil or use pressure cooker . Boil with 1 teasp oil and a little salt. Mash or blend
In a tablespoon of oil, add mustard seeds, limro leaves, Jiro, 1-2 dried red chillies, close lid.
Fry onion in same after mustard seeds have spurted
When onion is translusent add garlic, ginger, lots of chopped tomatoes , coriander and green chillies, turmeric, salt and curry powder and Daal Masala
After everything is incoperated add all the daal Mashed add water as desired consistancy and simmer for 10min at low heat.
Add lemon juice and salt as desired.
Lastly add fresh corriender leaves and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Enjoy sipping daal
