The Great Guyanese Greek Chicken Curry or 3G Chicken Curry By: Angela Zakaria

INGREDIENTS

3lbs Chicken cut up in small pieces with bones
tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp curry powder (Lalah's)
cup fresh Basil chopped
teaspoon Black pepper
Salt (As per taste)
teaspoon) Thyme
1/2 teaspoon Rosemarie
1 large Onion
1 teaspoon Garlic Ginger paste
2 potatoes cut in 1 inch pieces
Cup Water
Chilli Pepper or Hot Sauce (Optional)

PREPARATION

In a skillet or pan, fry onion and garlic in oil..
In separate bowl combine all the seasonings together and pour over oil in pan.
Then you place the chicken pieces in and stir occasionally for about 10 min,,,
add water , Cover the pan and boil in medium heat for about half an hour

Garnish it with Basil

Serve it with Rice or Roti or Pita Bread
