Gagan -- By--Mumtaz

Ingredients

1 Kg. White Flour
2 Cups heated ghee
1 tsp baking powder
Method

Take white flour and ghee in a vessel and prepare a firm dough with warm water.
Roll the dough and make small pieces
Kneed well. Beat with kitchen hammer
Make small 3inch x 3/4 - 1 inch rolls.

Frying

Take some ghee in the frying pan and heat it over slow heat.
Fry the above rolls on slow heat till light brown

Chasni

1 Kg. sugar
2 glasses of water Mix water and sugar in a saucepan and heat.
When the syrup is ready, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir the syrup well until it becomes white.
Put gagan one at a time in the syrup and when properly coated set them on the greased tray.
