JUGU CAKES By Shaifa Hirani

INGREDIENTS:

5 CUPS MAIDA / ATTA
2 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
2 CUPS GROUNDNUTS GRINDED
2 EGGS
2 TABLESPOON MARGARINE
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1 TEASPOON SODA BICARB.
WARM MILK FOR BINDING.
METHOD:

PRE HEAT OVEN
MIX ALL THE ITEMS TOGETHER AND BIND WITH WARM MILK.
SPREAD THE DOUGH IN A WELL GREASED TRAY.
REDUCE THE HEAT TO HALF AND PUT IN THE TRAY
WHEN THE DOUGH HAS PROPERLY RISEN TAKE OUT THE TRAY AND CUT IN TO REQUIRED SIZE DIAMOND SHAPES AND THEN BRUSH WITH AN EGG WHITE AND PUT IT BACK IN THE OVEN.
INCREASE HEAT A BIT AND BACK TILL LIGHT BROWN.
REMOVE FROM TRAY WHEN COOLED.
