Gram Flour(Besan) 3 tbsp

Oil 2 tbsp /

Asafoetida tsp

Mustard Seeds(rai) tsp

Cumin Seeds tsp

Onion, big,chop 1

Yoghurt(Dahi) 1 cup

Garlic paste 1tbsp

Green Chillies,ground to paste 2

Red Chilli Powder tsp

Turmeric Powder tsp

Salt to taste Water 2 cups

Curry Leaves a few sprigs

Green Coriander chopped 1 tbsp




Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai). Add the asafoetida, mustrard seeds and cumin seeds.



When they crackle, add the onion and fry till the onion browns.



Whisk the yoghurt with the garlic paste, green chilli paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, gram flour and salt. Add water and stir.



Add to the wok (kadhai) and bring to a boil. Add the curry leaves and then simmer for 10 minutes.



Garnish with green coriander. Serve with rotis, Bajra ji mani or plain boiled rice.
