Kadhi
Ingredients
Gram Flour(Besan)
3 tbspOil
2 tbsp /Asafoetida
¼ tsp Mustard Seeds(rai) ½ tspCumin Seeds
½ tspOnion, big,chop
1 Yoghurt(Dahi) 1¼ cupGarlic paste
1tbspGreen Chillies,ground to paste 2
Red Chilli Powder ¼ tspTurmeric Powder
¼ tspSalt to taste
Water 2 cupsCurry Leaves
a few sprigsGreen Coriander chopped

Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai). Add the asafoetida, mustrard seeds and cumin seeds. |

When they crackle, add the onion and fry till the onion browns. |

Whisk the yoghurt with the garlic paste, green chilli paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, gram flour and salt. Add water and stir. |

Add to the wok (kadhai) and bring to a boil. Add the curry leaves and then simmer for 10 minutes. |

Garnish with green coriander. Serve with rotis, Bajra ji mani or plain boiled rice. |
