2 lb. gram flour
2 lb. sugar
2 lb. ghee
1 lb. mavo
1/2 Cup Milk
Cardamom, nutmeg, safron and almond to taste
1/8 tsp yellow food color


Sieve flour and mix a half a cup of milk and half cup ghee into it.
Leave the above mixture for about 1/2 hour.
Fry the above mixture flour in remaining ghee until pinkish in color.
Add chasni and stir well.
Mix mavo, safron, almonds, cardamom, nutmeg and color.
Spread out on to a tray 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick. When cool cut into 2 inch pieces
How to make Chasni

1 kg, sugar
2 glasses of spring water
Mix above ingredients and heat till it becomes like syrup.
