Vegetable Soup By: Salma Khamisa


1 bag of coleslaw
1 carrot....grated
1 potato....grated
1 onion....grated
1 or 2 tomatoes...grated
1 cup of frozen peas
1 - 2 pieces of chicken cut in small pieces.
Water for soup
1 tablespoon of salt or per taste
1/2 tsp of ginger and garlic
Few peppercorns
1/2 - 1 tsp of tomato paste for colour.


Bring it to a boil and cook until vegetables are cooked.
Enjoy with fresh bread and butter.
Great on a cold winter day.
