Ingredients:
1 lb meat (beef, lamb) cut into 1 inch cubes
chili (as per taste)
1/2 a bunch green onion sliced thin
1 Teaspoon coriander powder
2 Large tomatoes chopped small
1 Large onion cut in thin slices
1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
1/2 Teaspoon ginger powder or paste (I use fresh)
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder or paste (I use fresh)
1/2 Teaspoon turmeric
3-4 Teaspoon lemon juice
2-3 Tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
2 Star Aneese (Optional)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder. (Optional) ( I use 1/2 teaspoon of Badekar's cut Chilli Achar)
Fresh Corriender 1/4 cup.
1/4 cup sliced green onion
Method:
Wash meat and drain water completely. Add salt and turmeric, garlic and ground black pepper.
Cook meat with 1 cup water in pressure cooker for about 10 minutes.
In a Karhai heat oil and add onion. Green Chillis sliced as per taste.
Fry till onion are slightly brown.
Add tomato and rest of ingredients, fry until tomatoes are soft and mixed with spices.
Then add meat to it and simmer for 15min. Stir occasionally
Add lemon juice, simmer for 5 more minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander and green onion.
Serve with Rice, Roti, Kulcha or Ugali.
