Ingredients
1 cup Ghee
8 oz butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup sooji
White Flour (approx 20 oz)
1 1/2 oz. baking powder
Vanilla Essence
2 Eggs
Method
Beat the Ghee, Butter and Sugar till light and creamy.
Add beaten eggs and Vanilla Essence
Add sooji. Add the flour little by little until the mixture becomes pliable.
Rub hands in very little fat and make small rounds
(These will increase in size when baked).
Bake them in a medium heat oven for about 20 mins or till the nankhatais become slightly brown.
To give them a beautiful look, put smarties on top (instead of dot of colour).
